Frequently Asked Questions

Being able to be apart of a bride's wedding day is genuinely such an honor and something I do not take for granted! Wedding planning can be stressful enough and I am here to help answer any and all questions you may have. Below are some of the most commonly asked questions I receive from new inquires. However, please don't hesitate to reach out with any and all additional questions!

Is my wedding day booked once we have done a trial?

Wedding days are not guaranteed until a 50% retainer has been obtained. If you loved your look during your trial I would definitely suggest submitting your retainer ASAP to guarantee your wedding date!

What all should I bring to my makeup trial?

The trial is a chance for us to connect while you have the opportunity to ask any and all questions that you may have. Inspiration pictures are always a must! Not only to show looks that you love and hope to recreate that can be tailored to your skin type, tone, face shape, eye shape, dress and accessories. But this also allows us to discuss something just as important….things you dislike. This way we know what to avoid to have you feeling like the best version of yourself!

Are you available for travel outside of the Kansas City area?

Yes! Prices for makeup services stay the same as local events. However, additional travel fees will be added for events outside of the greater Kansas City area (in or out of state). Please submit an inquiry for more information on your specific location.

Why is the cost of a bride’s makeup application a little higher than additional makeup services?

That is a great question! A few different aspects go into the price difference, the first one being time. The day of your wedding the bride's makeup application is time blocked f0r 75 minutes as opposed to additional services that are allotted 45 minutes. After all, it is one of the most important days of your life and attention to small details make the difference between beautiful makeup and exceptional makeup that will last all day and night.

There are also some small touches included in the bride's packages that will make your experience stress free and go as smooth as possible! First starting with an eye mask given to the bride upon my arrival on site, followed by a mini facial to prep the skin. This is one small step that makes a huge difference on how smoothly the makeup application goes onto the skin. In some cases the use of individual lashes as opposed to strip lashes are a better fit for some brides and the extra time allotted allows the lashes to be tailored to each bride. Lastly, all brides are given a touch up kit with all the essentials to get you through a day of photographs, emotional speeches and a night of celebrating with your loved ones!
